AN ORDINANCE providine for the appropriation of funds for which an
insufficient appropriation was made in the 1957 Budget ane declaring; an
emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the sum appropriated by the 1957 Budget to the bud-
get item Extra Help in the City Treasurer's Office which has or will, by
the 31st day of Decem0er, 1957, have been expended in full a~d t:Lat it is
necessary that Two Hundred Fifty ($250o00) Dollars Oe appropriated to said
budget item to pay salaries of extra help employed 'by the Treasurer's Of-
fice.
Section ~. That the~.e is hereby appropriated, from fun~s not otherwise
appropriated to the budget item Extra Help in the Treasurer's Office the
sum of Two Hundred Fifty (~250.00 Dollars.
Section 3. That by reason of the insufficient appropriation heretofor~
made and the unexpected expenditures foz~ extra help in the Treasurer's Of-
fice, there exists and is hereoy declared to exist an emergency a~d this
Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health,
safety and welfare of' the citizens of Bremerton and required for the carry-
in6 out of the work in the tity Treasurer's Office in the City of Bremerton.
P~SSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, sign-
ed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenbication of such
passage this 9th da, of October, 1957.
