AN ORDINANCE adopting and c~nfirm~ng the assess.~e, nt roll for Local Improvement Di~rict
No. 267~ providing £or the im]~rovement of ~az~uerite Avenue~ from l~th Street to 92~ feet
North as in sa~d Oz~dinance described; providi:~g for the levying and assessirg of the cos%s
and ex~'~enses thereof against the parcels and Lots of land between the termini and. within the
boundaries of said improvement district; i~r, vidi~g for the collection thereof; creatirg and
establishiag a special fund therefor~ and fixing the date far the issuance of bonds i:~ payment
thereof.
THE CITY OF BRF~IERTON DOES
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. 267~ providing
for the improvement of Marguerite Avenoe, from ].~th Street to 925 feet North by the
construction of four foot concrete sidewalks~ concrete curbs and gutters~ toge~ther with the
doing of any and all other work in c~nnection therewith as may be necessary to make such
iml~,rovement a complete job~ all in accordance with the ~lans and Specificati~ns on file in the
Office of the C~ty Clerk an~ as ?rovided by Or~fnance No. 2179~ the same is hereby a [,roved
and conf.~ rm~d.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, a~s shown in said assessment
roll is equally benefited b~' said improvement and that thez'e be and is hereby-assessed agairmt
each prcel and lot of land and part thereof and other l~roperty conta~ned in said
improvement district as sho~ in said roll, including any property belonging to the City
of Bremerton and the re~pective amounts in said roll set against each ~arcel and lot of
land and or -[~art thereof an5 other property between the termini of said im[~rovement~
abutting upon~ adjacent or ?roximate to said improvement~ and such am~,unts so assessed are
hereby declared to be first l~en sga~nst each Drcel or lot or i~rt thereof against which
the same is assessed in said roll.
Section 3. That for the ~ urpose of this improvement there is hereby created and estab-
lished a special fund to be known as "Locsl Improvement Fu~l District No. 267". Bonds~
bearing interest at, h% shall be issued in serial numbers from one (1) to Forty-t?~ree (2;3)
incl~sive, to as many as may be necessary to lrovide for the uncollected portion of said
si~,ecial assessment due or owing for t~ uncollected imrtion of said district on the date
hereinafter f~xed, to be in denominatdons of ~2OO.OO Bonds each~ except the first which
shall be for such fractional ia rt of $200.00 as may be remaining and mnpaid on said date, .aya]
from said "Local Improvement Fund D~strict No. 267.
Section ~!. T~at the 28th day of August~ 19~?~ be and the sa~ is hereby fixed
for the d=te of issuance and sale of bonds to be issued on account of said improvement.
Section ~. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty (50) days
from and ~ter its passa~ and ~bl.~cation as [,rov~ded by la~.
