AN ORDINANCE providing for the creation and establishment of
a special fund to be known as the Water Works Betterment Fund
1957, for the betterment and expansion of the city water works
and providing for the deposit of funds therein and for the trans'
fer of funds thereto and providing for disbursements from said
funds and declaring an emergency.
TttE CITY OF BRENERTON DOES ORDAIN:
S~ection 1. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to establish a special fund to be known as the Water Works
Betterment Fund 1957.
Section 2. The City Treasurer is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to transfer to said Water Works Betterment Fund 1957, any
and all monies received by the City of Bremerton from the sale of
all water and sewer Revenue Bonds hereafter, and any funds budgeted,
appropriated or transferred by the city ~r the use in the better-
ment and expansion of the water works.
Section 3. Monies may be expended from said Water Works Bet-
terme~t Fund 1957 under the direction of the City Council of the
City of Bremerton for the purposes of expanding and bettering the
water works system as set forth in Ordinance #2102.
Section 4. That there exists and is hereby declared to exist
an emergency and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate pre-
servation of the public peace, health, and safety of the citizens
of Bremerton and shall be in full force and effect immediately up-
on passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremer-
ton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 10th day of April, 1957.
