AN ORDINANCE providing for the appropriation of funds
which were not provided for in the 1957 ~udget for the Muni-
cipal Court and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from funds
not otherwise appropriated a sum of $1200.00 to the item Cap-
ital Lay Out Municipal Court in the 195V Budget.
Section 2. That as a result of a survey made in the Traf-
fic Violation Department in the Municipal Court a more efficient
and less costly operation can be maintained by the purhhase of
a validating and receipting machine, the purchase of which was
not provided for in the 195V Budget and to effect a contemplated
savings it. is necessary that emergency appropriations be made
and there exists and it is hereby declared to exist an emergency
and this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the pub-
lic peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the
City of Bremerton, and shall be effective i~ediately following
passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this 20th day of February,
1959. ~
