AN ORDINANCE creating the position of Pump Operator-Time Keeper
in the Water Department providing for the appropriation of funds for
w'kich no appropriation was made in the 1957 Budget and transferring
funds to 'this position from the item Foreman Time Keeper in the Wat-
er Department and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Effective February 1, 1957 there is hereby created
and established in the Water Department the position of Pump Opera-
tor-Time Keeper at a monthly-salary of not more than ~340.00 per
month excluding longevity pay.
Section 2. There is hereby transferred from the budget item
Foreman Time Keeper Water Department Budget the stun of ~3850.00 to
the item Pump Operator-Time Keeper Water Department and 'there is
hereby appropriated to the item Pump Operator-Time Keeper the a-
foresaid sum of i~850.00.
Section 3. That by reason of the necessity of the establish-
ment of the position Pump Operator-Time Keeper in the Water Depart-
ment there ixists and is hereby declared to exist an emergency re-
quiring the passage of an emergency Ordinance creating said position
and transferring and appropriating2 funds to pay the wages and salary
of a Pump Operator-Time Keeper in the Water Department.

of such passage this 20th da,'? of February, 1957.
