AN ORDINANCE providing for the abandonment of all unexpended
funds appropriated in the 1956 Budget, excepting certain designat-
ed funds, and providing that certain designated funds shall be
carried forward and remain in full force and effect, and be held
available for the purpose of such budgetary appropriations, and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. £hat all suns provided in the budget for the year
1956 which remain unexpended on Janu~ry 20, 195V, shall be aband-
oned on said date, except the following which shall remain in full
force and effect and shall be held available during the year 1957,
unless hereafter specifically abandoned 'by ordinance~

Capital Outlay - Auto & Cycle Eqpto 140o00
Fire:
Capital Outlay - Misc. Equipment 140.00
Street:
Capital Outlay - Automotive & Oth Eq. 6,969.25
Water General:
Capital Outlay - Ce~tral Whse Bldg. 20,000.00
Water Commercial:
Capital Outlay - Microfilm Equip. 2,000.00
Section 2. An emergency exists and is hereby declared to
exist, and this ordinance is necessar/ for the preservation of
the public pzace, health and safety of the citizens of the City
of Bremerton, an~J shall be effective upon passage and publica-
tion. '~ ~'
PASSED UNANIMOOSLY by the Ci'~y Council of the Oity of Bremer-
ton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 17th day of January, 1957.
