boards, spindle games and similar devices, fixing fees, providing for
enforcement and for the issuance and revocation of licenses, repeal-
lng Section 8 of Ordinance No. 1909 and amending Section 4oof Ordin-
ance No. 1909 as amended by Ordinance No. 2175.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1909, as amended by
Ordinance No. 2175 be and the same is hereby amended to read as fol-
lows:
"Section 4. The license year shall be the fiscal year.
Ail license fees shall ce payable on the annual basis
and where t~e license is issued on and subsequent to
January 1st in any one year, the fee therefor shall be
one-half the annual fee, which annual fee shall be as
follows:
Location Owner's Trade Stimulant Device Licens® z--~o
$7.50 per annum for three such devices and ~'~
per annmn for each such additional device.
Operator's Trade Stimulant Device License --
$100.00 per annum.
Wholesale Distributor's Trade Stimulant Device License --
$100.00 per annum.
Every person coming within more than one of the above
classifications provided in this section shall pay the
full license fee required of each particular classifi-
cation.
In addition to the license, suitable stamps in the form
prescribed by the City Treasurer shall be affixed to each
such device as is described in Section i hereof, by the
Wholesale Distributor, 0efore such device may be leased,
displayed, used or sold in the City of Bremerton, and the
fee for each such stamp shall be an amount equal to 4% of the
the potential value or yield of any such device. Such
value shall be determined by multiplying the number of
tickats or slips used in or on each device, by the money
purchase price of each such ticket or slip, irrespective
of the met[hod of attachment of each to the device."
Section 2. That Section 6 of Ordinance No. 1909 be and the same
is hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective on October
1, 1956, after passage and ~u~$ication.
APPROVED on first reading this 8th day of August, 1956.
PASSED AND AP~ROVED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 15th day of August, 1958.
