AN ORDINANCE relating to peddling; amending Ordinance No. 1562 as
amended by Ordinmnces No. 2044 and 2117 by adding thereto a new Sec-
tion and re~ealing Ordinance No. 2117 and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES O[~DAIN:
Section 1, That Ordinance No. 2117 be and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 1662 as amended by Ordinances No.
2044 and 2117 be and the same hereby is amended by adding thereto a
new section 4-a to read as follows:
"Section 4-a. Firm or Corporation License. An annual lic-
ense may be issued for each solicitor employed by any bus-
iness firm or corporation located in the City of Bremerton
in the name of said firm or corporation."
Section 3. 'hat there exists and is hereby declared to exist an
emergency, and this Ordinance is necessary for the present preservation
of thepublic peace, health, safety ~nd ~elfare of the citizens of the
City of Bremerton.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective on July 1st,
1956, following passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the~..City of Bremerton,
signed by the ~ayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage this 13th day of June, 1956.
