AN ORDINANCE declaring the need for the condemnation of certain
real property in the City of Bremerton for street purposes, directing
condemnation of said property and payment of just compensation there-
for, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~IERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the following described real property, situated
in Kitsap County, State of ~ashington, to-wit:

Any portion of ~he following ~escribed property lying
within ~0 feet of the East line of the No~thwest quarter
of the Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 24
North, Range 1 East, Willamette Meridian, Kitsap County,
Washington. Said East line being the centerl~ne of
Perry Avenue.
A portion of the North 135 feet of the North half of the
East half of the Ooutheast quarter of the Northwest
quarter of the i~lortheast quarter of Section 13, Township
24 North, Range 1 East, Willamette ~,ieridian, described
as follows: Beginning at ~che I~ortheas~ corner of the
Southeast q~mrter of the Northwest euarter of the North-
east quarter of said Section 13; thence running North
87°32'01" West, a distance of 25.00 fee~ to the West
line of Perry Avenue; thence South lO48'51" West a dis-
tance of 85.19 feet along the West line of Ferry Avenue
to 6he true point of beginning;~ thence continuing So~th

North, Range 1 East, Willmnette meridian, Kitsap County,

Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southeast

Perry Avenue and the true point of beginning; thence
North 8V°32~01'' West 12V.10 feet; thence South 1°48,51"

true point of beginning; situated in Kitsap County,

is required by the 0ity of Bremerton for street purposes and that it
is necessary that said property be acquired by condemnation and that
just compensation be determined in such proceedings to be paid 'to the
owners thereof.
Section 2. That the City Attorney and the City of Bremerton
are her'eby authorized and directed to proceed immediately with the
condemnation of said real property in the Superior Court of the State
of Washington for Kitsap County.
Section 3. ±'hat an emergency exists, affecting the public
peace, health and safety, and 'this Ordinance shall oecome effect~.ve
immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY BY THE City 0ouncil of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
of such passage t~is 25th day of April, 1956.
