AN ORDINANCE creatin6 the position of dispatcher at the
Water Shop in the Water Department, providing for the appro-
priation of funds for which no appropriation was made in the
1956 Budget and transferring funds to this position from the
item Extra Labor in the Water Department, and declaring an
emergency.
THE CITY OF BHEi~,IERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Effective ~lay 1, 1955, there is hereby creat-
ed and established in the Water 'Department the position of Dis-
patcher at the ~¥ater Shop, at a monthly salary of not more than
Two Hundred Sixty-five ($255.00) Dollars per month.
Section 2. There is hereby transferred from the Budget
item Extra "abor, Water Department Budget, the sUr~l of Two ~hous-
and one hundred twenty (~2,120.00) Dollars to the item Dispatch-
er, Water Department Budget, and there is hereby appropriated
to the item Water Dispatcher, the aforesaid sum of Two thmusand
one hundred twenty (~2,120.O0) Dollars.
Section 3. That by .~.~eason of the necessity of the estab-
lishment of' the position of 'Dispatcher at the ~ater Shop in the
Water Department, there exists and is hereby ~eclared to e~ist
an emergency, and this Ordinance is necessary for the present
preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare
of the citizens of the City of Bremerton, and is required for
the carrying on of the necessary work under the law for the Wat-
er Department.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the 0ity of Brem-
erton, signed by the l,,iayor and atteSted by the City Clerk in
aathentication of such passage this 25th ~ay of ~pril, 1956,
