AN ORDINANCE effecting licenses for the playing of
music for hire, amending Sections 2 and 5 of Ord-
inance No. 1442.
THE CITY OF BRF2~IERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1442 be, and
the s~nne is h~eby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. The fee for such license shall be twenty
five ($28.00) Dollars per annum, payable annually in
advance on the let day of July of each year, shall be
issued by the City Clerk on the application of the
proprietor of the place or establishment sought to be
licensed and shall run to the applicant and the place
of business sought to be licensed. Such license shall
not be transferred without the consent of the City
Commission."
Section 2. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 1~42 be, and
the same is hereby amended to r®ad as follow~:
"Section 5. Violation of any of the pro¥isionsof this
ordinance shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding
Three hundred ($500.00) Dollars, or by imprisonment in
the City Jail not exceeding ninety (90) days, orby
both such fine and imprisonment."
APPROVED on first reading this 7th day of March, 1956.
PASSED on second reading by the City Council of the ~ity of
Bremerton, signed by the ~ayor, and attested by the City clerk in
authentication of such passage this 14th day of March, 1956.
