AGE DISPOSAL S¥STEI'~'[ OF '['HE CITY OF BREI~;IERTON: regulating the use
of ~ater therefrom; providing for the ~ale of' water and sewage
disposal services; fixing the price or rate thereof and provid-
ing a method of collecting rates; Providing penalties for 'the vio-
lations of 'this Ordinance.
THE CITY OF BREi~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. ~hat paragraph (e) of Section ~ of Ordinance
IYo. g~88 is hereby amended 'to read as follows:
Wherever mains or extensions have been installed subsequent
to October 1, 198S property owners or property shall not have
contributed towards ~he cost of such construction gt the time
they are constructed, they and the property so omitted shall b e
required to pay one and 80/100 Dollars (~!.80) per front feet
of property, within ghe City Limits, fronting such mains before
they will be permitted to connect to said mains.
In the case of property outside the City Limits, the front
footage charge shall be two and ~/100 Dollars (~.~) per front
foot.
The front footage charge herein provided shall be in addi-
tion to rates, capping fees and other charges established for
water service.
Section 2. That an emergency exists, affecting thepublio
peace, health, and safety and ~his Ordinance shall 'become ef-
fective immediately following passage and pu'blication.
APPROVED ON ?IRST READING this ~rd day of December, 1958.
PASSED ON SECOND READING by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this 10th day of December, 1958.
