AN ORDINANCE accepting and incorporating into the corporate limits of
the City of Bremerton certain land now lying outside the limits of the City
of Bremerton, cI~ts~p ~.otudty, Washington, and lying contiguous to said City,
~nd declaring an emergency.
'THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. WHEREAS, a petition signed by the owner of~more than seven-
ty-five per cent (VS~) in value, according to the assessed value for taxa-
tion, of the property ~ereinafter described has been filed with the City Coun-
cil of the City of Bremerton and the Council has by motion directed that
notice of a hearing on said petition be given on the 24th day of September,
1958, at the hour of ten o'clock a.m., and that said notice has been given
by publication in the~Bremerton Sun, the official newspaper of the City of
Bremerton and that three copies of said notice of said hearing have been
posted in three public places in and upon the property petitioned to be an-
nexed, and that a public hearing was held on the 24th day of September, 1958,
and followin~ such public hearin6 the City Council of the City of Bremerton
has determined to annex the property described in the petition for annexa-
tion.
Section 2. The followinj described -tract of land is hereby and by
this ordinance adopted and incorporated within and become a part of the
City of Bremerton, to-wit:
Lot 12, Plat of C. Jack Jones Addition recorded in Volume 6
of Plats, page 50, records of Kitsap County, Washington, to-

Section 3. An emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for
the inm~ediate preservation of the public pease, property, health ~nd safe-
ty of the people of Bremerton and t~is ordinance saall be in full force
and effect following its passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, sign-
ed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 24th day of September, 1958.
