AN ORDIN~'CE creating the position of clerk-typist II in
the Water Department general office providing for the appropria-
tion of funds for which no appropriation was made in the 1958
Budget; and transferring funds to this position from the item
clerk-typist I in the Water Departments general office; and de-
claring an emergency.
THE CITY 0F BREHERTON DOES 08DAIN:
Section 1. Effective February 1, 1958, there is hereby
created and established in the Water Departments general office
the position of clerk-typist II, at an hourly salary of ~1.65.
Section 2. There is hereby transferred from the budget
item clerk-typist I, Water Departments general office the sum of
~2200 to the item clerk-typist II, in said office and there is
hereby appropriated to the item clerk-typist II the aforesaid
s=n of
Section 3. That by reason of an error in the preparation
of the budget for 1958, the position of clerk-typist II as here-
in provided, was omitted. There exists:rand is hereby declared
to exist an emergency, anm Chis Ordinance is necessary for the
present preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wel-
fare of the citizens of tho C~ty' of ~remerton, and is required
for the carrying on of the necessary work under the law for the
Water Department.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor, and attested by the City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this 29th day of January,
1958.
