AN ORDINANCE providing for the transfer of funds between classes in the
1957 budgets df several dep,-~rtments of the city and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby transferred and appropriated from the
following budget items, to other budget items within the same department, the
following sums:
a. Within the Park Fund, from Maintenance and Operation,
Maintenance of Buildings and G~ounds $241.99, and Capital Outlay, Ground
Improvements and Acquisition $248.93, to Salaries and ~Vages, Extra Labor,
for the reason that there w~s an insufficient appropriation in the 1957
budget due to more activities in the community b~ildings than anticipated.
b. Within the General Fund, Municipal Court, from Capital Outlay
to Maintenance and Operation, Office Expense, the sum of $40.00 for the reason
that more postage is req~ired for delinquent notices than anticipated.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared to exist and
it is necessary that the foregoing transfers be made for the present preservation
of the peace, health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Bremerton,
and is required for the carrying out of the necessary work in the above named
departments, and this ordinance shall be in effect Immediately following passage
and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the ~iayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 20th day of January, 19~8.
