AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of High Avenue.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES O~D~IN:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Bremerton declared
its intention to vacate a portion of High Avenue, by resolution No. 983
dated the ZOth day of November, 1957, and sebring the 18th day of December,
1957, as the date upoh whichs aid resolution would be heard, and that notice
of said hearing has been posted and given in the manner provided by law.
Section 2. That the portion of said street is more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point which is 30' S. of the SE corner of Lot 9,
Block 1, Gale and Millers Addition being the true point of beginning, th E
20' th N and parallel with centerline of High Avenue 318.50' to point
which is 20, S. of the centerline of th 13th Street and ~O'~W of the center-
line of High Avenue; th W and parallel with the centerline of 13~h Street
20' th S. and parallel with centerline of High Avenue 318.50' to true point
of beginning, Kitsap County, State of Washington.
and thesame hereby is declared vacated, but the City of Bremerton
does hereby reserve and retain an easement of any public utilities, including
sewer and water lines, telephone and power cables, which may now be under the
surface of any of the areas vacated, and the City of Bremerton also retains
the right to exercise and &~nt easements in respect to the areas hereby
vacated for the construction, repair and maintenance of public utilities
and services.
The City Clerk is authorized to certify a copy of this ordinance to be
a true and correct copy thereof and to file the same fo~. recording by the
Auditor of Kitsap County, Washington.
APPROVED on first reading this 2nd day of January, 1958.
~ASSED on second' reading by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 8th day of January, 1958.
