AN ORDINANCE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for Local Improvemen
District No. 271, providing for the improvement of Perry Avenue, from East 16th
Street to Holman Street, aS in said Or~inance described; providing for the levying
and assessing for the costs and expenses thereof againstthe .parcels and lots of
land between the termini and within the boundaries of said improvement district;
providing for the collection thereof; creating and establishing a special fund
therefor; and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds in payment thereof.
TH~ CITY OF BHEM~RTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. 271
providing for the improvement of Perry Avenue, from East 16th Street to Holman
Street by the construction of five f,~ot concrete sidewalks, concrete curbs and
gutters, together with the doing of any and all other work in connection with
as may be ne~esaary to make such improvement a complete job, all in accordance
with the plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk and
as provided by Ordinance No, 2224, the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in sai
assessment roll is equally benefited by said improvement and that there be and is
hereby assessed against each parcel and lot of land and part thereof and other
property contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll, including
any property belonging to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts in said
roll set against each parcel and lot of land and or part thereof and other propert
between the termini of said improvement, abutting upon, adjacent or proximate' to
said improvement, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to be first
lien against each parcel or lot or part thereof against which the same is
assessed in said roll.

Section 3, That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby
ereated and established a special fund to be known as"Local Improvement Fund
District No. 271". Bonds, bearing interest at 4% shall be issued in serial
numbers from one.(1) to 52 inclusive, to as many as may be necessary to
pro,de for the uncollected portion of said district on the date hereinafter
fixed, to be in denominations of $500.00 Bonds each, except the first which
shall be for such fractional part of $500.00 as may be remaining and unpaid on
said date, payable from said "Local Improvement Fund District No. 271".
Section 4. That the Vth day of March 1958, be and the same is hereby
fixed for the date of issuance and sale of bonds to be issued on account
of said improvement.
Section 5. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage and p~blica~ion as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council, signed by the Mayor and attested by
the City Clerk in authentication of such passage this 8th day of January, 1958.
