An ORDINAI~iiCE vacating that po~tion of an alley running between Lots t0
and 11 of Halverson's 2nd Addition.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DX]ES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Bremerton declared its
intention to vacate an alley by Resolution No. 1064, setting the 5th day of
August, 1959, as the date upon which ssi5 resolution would be heard and that
notice of said hearing has been posted and given in the manner provided by
law and no opposition appearing.
Section 2. That the alley more particularly described as follows:
alley running between Lots 10 and 11 of Hal verson Second Addition, as shown
on the plat recorded in Volume 8 of plats, Page 15, records of Kitsap County,
Washington, EXCEPT for that portion of said alley contained in a strip of
land 8 feet in width, being 4 feet on each side of the following described
centerline: Beginning at the intersection of the westerly margin of Halver-
son Avenue with the centerline of above mentioned alley; thence northwest-
erly along said centerline 115 feet, more or less, to a point which is S.7o
52'50" W 10.00 feet from the ~outhwest corner of above n~ed Lot 11~ is here-
by declared vaca~.~ed, but the City of Bremerton does hereby reserve and re-
tains an easement for any public utilities, including sewer and water lines,
telephone and power cables, which may now be under the surface of any of the
areas vacated, and the City also re~ains the right to exercise and grant
easements in respect to the area hereby vacated for the construction, repair
and maintenance of public utilities and services.
The City Clerk is authorized to certify a copy of this Ordinance to be
a true and correct co~y thereof and to file the s~e for recording with the
Auditor of Kitsap County, Washington.
