AN ORDINANCE amending Use and Area Maps of Ordinance:No. 1792 and declar-
ing an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That pursuant to Resolution No. 81 of the Planning Commission
of the City of Bremerton, the Use and Area Maps of Ordinance 1792 be, and they
are hereby amended in conformity with Chapter 1, Title 4 thereof, as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Northwest ~ of the South-
west ¼ of Section 14, Township 24, Range 1 EWM; thence South 1°21~28''
West along the west line of said Section 14 a distance of 30 feet
to the south margin of 6th St. and the true point of beginning; th-
ence continue South 1o21828" West along said section line 330 FEET
thence South 88°25~27" East 300 feet, thence North lO21~28" East
parallel to the west line of said ~Section 14 a distance of 330
feet to the south margin of 6th St.; thence North 88o25~27" West
along the south margin of 6th St. to -the true point of beginning.
Also Lots 1 thru 11, Block 8, First addition to Charleston as
recorded in Vol. 4 of Plats, Page 57, records of Kitsap County,
Washington~ be rezoned from Residential - One (R-l) to Business - Three
(B-3).
Section 2. That by reason of change in the Use and Area Maps, an emer-
gency exists and is herecy declared to exist, and this ordinance is necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and safety of the
citizens of Bremerton, and for the general welfare, and the same shall be in
full force and effect immediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 17th day of June, 1959.
