AN ORDINANCE relating 'to admission taxes and amending paragraph A
of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1521.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That paragraph A of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1521 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 2 (a). There is hereby levied and imposed upon any person
(including children; without regard to age) who pays an admission charge
to any place, including a tax on persons who are admitted free of charge
or at reduced rates to any place, except theatres, for which other per-
sons pay a charge or a regular higher charge for the same or similar
privileges or accommodations, which said tax shall be in the amount of
one cent for each twenty cents or fraction thereof paid for the admission
charge. The tax on theatre admissions shall be in the amount of one cent
for each twenty five cents or fraction thereof paid for admission.
Section 2. This Ordinance will be in full force and effect June 12,
195~..after passage and publication.
APPROVED ON FIRST READING this 29th day of April, 1959.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 6th day of May, 1959. '~
