AN ORDINANCE appropriating $2,500.00 to the General Fund for the
payment of interest on General Fund Warrants for which no appropriation
was made in the 1959 budget and declaring an emergency,
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. ~£hat there is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,500.00
from funds not otherwise appropriated to the item Niscellaneous, General
Fund 1959 Budget for the purpose of paying interest on General Fund War-
rants.
Section 2. That at the time of the adoption of the budget of the
City of Bremerton for the year 1959 it could not have been reasonably for-
seen that the lag in the collection of taxes and other municipal revenues
would be greater than in the past and would necessitate a special fund to
pay interest on general fund warrants and that such additional appropria-
tions would be necessary and there exists and is hereby declared to exist
an emergency requiring this appropriation and this Ordinance is necessary
for the present preservation of the public peace, health, safety and wel-
fare of the zitizens of the City of Bremerton.
APPROVED on first readln6 this 29th day of April, 1959.
PASSED unanimousl~by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of
such passage this 6th day of May, 1959.
