AN ORDINANCE reclassifying the item Extra Help in the Eng-
ineers Budget: transferring and appropriating to said item funds
from the Budget items Civil Engineer 1 and 2 and declaring an
emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~'~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. :fhat the item Extra Help in the engineers bud-
get is hereby reclassified from 14-21 to 7-24.

Section 2. £hat there is hereby transferred from the Budget
item Civil Engineer 2 the sun of ~5664. to the item Extra Help and
there is hereby transferred from the item Civil Engineer I. the sum
of ~5,016.00 to the item Extra Help amd there is hereby ~pmopr~ted
to.the, item Ext~a~elp ~-24~t~ £orego~ngfsums.
Section 3. That by reason of the necessity Of the increase
in the maximum salary range for ~:tra Help which could not have
been reasonably foreseen or anticiapated at the time of the adopt-
tion of the oudget for 1959, there exists and is hereby declared
to exist an emergency an~ 'this Ordinance is necessary for the pre-
servation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare of cit-
izens of the City of Bremerton, and is required for the carrying
on of the necessary w .rk under the law for the Engineer.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremer-
ton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 4th day of February, 1959.
