AN ORDINANCE relating to and regulating the installation and use of
pipes, fixtures and apparatus used or intended to b e used to conduct or con-
sume natural, manufactured or mi×ed gas in the City of Bremerton, providing
for the issuance of permits, licenses a~d collection of fees therefore and
amending Section 2c of Ordinance No. 2245 and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERrON ~ES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section ~c of Ordinance No. 22~8 is hereby amended to
rea~ as follows:
Section 2¢° There is hereby created an e~ami'ning board for appliance
artisans consisting of ~ members, to-wit: The Fire Inspector, a ~aster
Plumber, a Journeyman Plumber and ~he City Gas Appliance Inspector. The
City Gas Appliance Inspector s~mll act as Secretary of said ~oard but shall
receive no compensation as such. The City Engineer and the City ~uilding
Inspector shall constitute and act as an advisory committee to the examining
board for appliance artisans and shall receive no compensation for this ser-
vice.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is here~y declared to exist
and ~his Ordinance is necessary for the i~mmediate preservation of the public
peace, health, and safety of the CitiZens of Bremerton, and for the general
welfare, and ~he same shall be in full force and effect immediately upon pass
age and publication.
PASSED UNANIMOUSLY by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 4th day of February, 1959.
