AN ORDINANCE providing for the expenditure of funds for which no pro-
vision was made in the 1958 Park Department Budget, and declaring an emer-
gency.
THE CITY OF BRE~].ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. At the time the 1958 Budget was adopted it could not reason-
ably forseen that for 'the period from April 1, 1958, to December 31, 1958,
the Park Department would be operating and maintaining the Sheridan Park
Community Building.
Section P~. That an emergency exists due to the necessity of operating
two community center buildings whereas the budget contemplated the opera-
tion of one such building, a~d it is estimated that an expenditure of
~750.00 will be required to relieve such emergency.
Section 3. There is hereby appropriated and ordered t~ansferred from
the General Fund to th~ Park Fund the sum of ~750.00, such appropriation to
be added to the item "Utilities", under I¥iaintenance and Operation in the
Park Department Budget for 1~58.
Section 4. This ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the
public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Bremerton, and shall
take effect immediately following passage and publication.
APPROVED on first reading this 14th day of JanuarY, 1959~
PASSED unanimously on second reading by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by' the City Clerk in authen-
tication of such passage this 22nd day of January, 1959,
