Budget and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BHE~EHTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. At the time .of making appropriations in the 1959 budget it
could not hsve reasonably been forseen that an additional appropriation would
and for Office Expense in the Commissioner of Finance Budget
be required for travel expense in the Mayor's budge~ that breakdowns at the
Sh~imming Pool would require additional funds, that emergencies in the Water
Department would require more overtime work by the Storekeeper and Utility-
man~ and that to operate the Water Supply Department for the year would
quire additional funds for Extra Labor and for electricity and for mainten-
ance of automotive equipment.
Section 2. In order to correct this condition it is found to be in the
best interests of the City of Bremerton that the following transfers of
appropriations be~ and they hereby are, made: Mayor~ from Salaries & ~ages
Com'r of Finance, from Sal. & Wages - E~tra I/ell), to Main. t. & Operation - Office Emp. $h2.72
Extra Help,~ to Maint. & Operation- Travel,~2.72;/Park Swimming Pool, from
Salaries & ¥~ages - 'Extra Labor, to Maint. & Operation - ~tce. of Bldgs. &
Grounds, $100.00; from Water General Office, Naint. & Operation, Office Sup-
plies & Expense, to Salaries & Wages - Storekeeper & Utilityman, $125.OO;
from Yfater Distribution, Salaries & Wages - Pipemen Helpers $4,475.00 to

Section 3. An emergency exists and this ordinance is necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health and safety of
the people of Bre~erton and shell be in full force and effect following its
passage and publication.
PAS~ED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the ~ayor and attested by the City' Clerk in authentication of such passage
this 25rd day of December, 19~9.
