AN ORDINA_~CE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 281, providing for the improvement of E. 9th Street from Nipsic Avenue
to Vandalia Avenue; E. 10th Street £ro~ ~ic Avenue to Trenton Avenue; Vat,da]ia
Avenue from E. 9th Street to E. llth Stre®~$ and Trenton Avenue from E. lOth
Street to E. llth Street, as in said Ordt~m~e. described; providing for the
levying and assessing for the cost~ and ~penses. thereof against the parcels
and lots of land between the termin~ a~ ~thin the boundaries of said improvement
district; providing for the collec~i~ '%her~of$ creating and establishing a special
fund therefor; and fixing the date f~r the issuance of bonds in payment thereof.
THE CITY OF BR~RTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment ROll £~ Local Improvement District No. 281
~r oviding for the im~urovement of E. 9th Street from Nipsic Avenue to Vandalia
Avenue; E. 10th Street from Nipsic Avenue to Trenton Avenue; Vandalia Avenue
fr~n E. 9th Street to E. llth Street; and Trenton Avenue from E. 10th Street
to E. llth Street by concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters and street reconstruction,
together with the doing of any and all other work in connection therewith as may
be necessary to make such improvement a complete job, all in accordance v&th the
plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer and. as :orovided
by Ordinance No. 2~!.!~,~ the same is hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each' parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in
said assessment roll is specially benefited by s aid improvement and that there be
and is hereby assessed against each p~rcel and lot of land and part thereof and
other property contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll, including
any ~roperty belonging to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts in said
roll set against each ~a rcel and lot of land and or part thereof and other property
between the termini of said improvement, abutting uoon, adjacent or proximate
to said improvement, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to be first
lien against each parcel or lot or part thereof against which the same is assessed
in said roll.
Section ~. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby created
and established a special fund to be knova as "Local Improvement Fund District
No. 281". Bonds, bearing interest at ~% shall be issued in serial numbers from
one (1) to inclusive, to as many as may be necessary to provide
for the uncollected portion of said district on the date hereinafter fixed, to be
in denominations of ~ bonds each, except the first which
shall be for such fractional part of -~ as may be
remaining and unpaid on said date~ payable from said "Local Improvement Fund
District No. 281". ·

same is hereby fixed for the date of iss~nce and ~ale of bonds to be issued
on account of said improvem~nte
Secti~ ~. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect thirty
(30) days fro~ and after its passag® and publication as provided by law.
