AN O?~INANCE adopting and confirm~m§ the assessment roll for Local Improvement
District No. 280, providing for the improvement of E. 29th Street, Eagle Avenue,
East ]lst Street and Wheaton Way (formerly Highway 21-B), as in said Ordinance
described; providing for the levying and a~sessing for the costs and expenses thereof
against the parcels and lots of land between the termini and within the boundaries
of said improvement district; providing for the collection thereof; creating and
establishing a special fund therefor; and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds
in payment thereof.
THE CITY OF BRE~,~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the Assessment Roll f~r Local Improvement District No. 280
p~oviding for the improvement of E. 29th Street, Ea~le Avenue, E. ]lst Street and
Wheaton Way (formerly Hig~vay 21-B) b~ construction of an 8 inch sanita~ sewer and
appurtenances in the above mentiomd streets, together with the doing o f any ar~
all other work in connection therewith as may be necessary %o make such improvement
a complete job, all in accordance With the plans and specifications on file in the
Office of the City Engineer and as provided b~ Ordinance No. 2~28, the san~
hereby approved and confirmed.
Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in said
assessment roll is specially benefited by said improvement and that there be and
is hereby assessed against each p~rcel and lot of land and p~rt thereof and other
property contained in s aid improvement district as shown in said roll, including
any property belonging to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts in
said roll set against each parcel and lot of land and or part thereof and other
propert~ between the termini of said improvement, abutting upon, adjacent or
proximate %o s'~id improvement, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to
be first lien ag~;~nst each parcel or lot
assessed in said roll.
Section ~. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereb~ created
a~d established a special fund to be known as"Local Improvement Fund District
No. 2~0"~ Bonds, bearing interest at [~ shall be issued in serial numbers from
one (1) to ~ , inclusive, to as many as may be necessary to provide
for the uncollected portion of s aid district on the date hereinafter fixed,
