AN ORDINANCE amending Section 21 of
Ordinance No. 2888 as amended by
Ordinance No. 3100 and Ordinance No.
3138 and Ordinance No. 3378 and
Ordinance No. 3472; relating to taxi
fares.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: That Section 21 of Ordinance No. 2888 as amended
by Ordinance No. 3100 and Ordinance No. 3138 and Ordinance No. 3378 and
Ordinance No. 3472; relating to taxi fares is hereby amended to read
as follows:
Section 21. Taxicab meter rates shall be as follows:
For one passenger for one-fifth mile, or fraction thereof,
not greater than one dollar and twenty cents (1.20), and thereafter
for each one-tenth mile, or fraction thereof, not greater than ten
cents; for every thirty six seconds of waiting time, not greater than
ten cents; for each additional passenger, not greater than forty cents.
No additional passenger shall be picked up without the express consent
of the original passenger.
APPROVED by the City Council on the first reading this
day of July, 1979.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed
by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 10th day of July, 1979.
