ORDINANCE NO. Bremerton Sun ~,/
AN ORDINANCE establishing licenses
and license fees for Home Occupations
within the City of Bremerton.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: Definition.
"Home Occupation" shall mean any job, business or
occupation carried on by an occupant of a dwelling or residence
where such use is incidental and subsidiary to t~e main use of
the Duilding as a dwelling or residence.
SECTION 2: License
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct a business
in or on premises used or predominently used as dwelling or
residence or to engage in any home occupation within the City of
Bremerton without having first obtained a Home Occupation Business
License from the City of Bremerton.
SECTION 3: Fees
The fees for such Home Occupation business license shall
be twenty five dollars for the first year or portion thereof that
the business is licensed and fifteen dollars for each year thereafter
Said license shall be renewable on July first of each year and shall
not be transferable.
SECTION 4: Violation
Any person who shall violate any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be fined no more than five hundred
dollars, or shall be imprisoned for not more than ninety days
or by both such fine and imprisonment.
