AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 2 of
Ordinance No. 970 and amending Section
15 of Ordinance No. 970, which sections
are codified respectively as BMC 5.08.020
and BMC 5.O8.150, and relate to Oewelry
Auctioneer License and individuals who
may assign property to auctioneers.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES HEREBY ORDA1N:
SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 970, which is codified
as BMC 5.O8.O20, ~s hereby repealed.
SECTION 2: Section 15 of Ordinance No. 970, which is codified
as BMC 5.O8.150, is hereby amended to read as follows:
UNLAWFUL TO RECEIVE PROPERTY FROM CERTAIN PERSONS. It shall be
unlawful for any auctioneer, his agent or employee, to buy or receive any
property from any person under eighteen (18) years of age, or from any
intoxicated person, or from any babitua] drunkard, or from any person be
bas reason to suspect of having stolen such property or any part thereof.
APPROVED by the City Commissioners on the first reading this
