AN ORDINANCE relating to the time and place
for holding regular, night and special meet-
ings of the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, repealing ordinances No. 745, 1333,
2608 and all other ordinances in conflict here-
with, and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. The time and place ~f the regular meeting
of the City Council required by Charter shall continue to be held
each Wednesday at 9:00 o'clock A.M., at the Council Chambers, City
Hall, Bremerton, Washington as heretofore; PROVIDED HOWEVER, if
such meeting day falls upon a legal holiday or upon the same day
that either a Primary or General Election is held, then such regular
meeting shall be on the first business day following.
Section 2. Night meetings and special meetings of the
City Council shall be held in said Council Chambers after public notice
has been given by notifying press, radio and television in the
County and by such other means as may now or hereafter b~ provided
by law.
Section 3. Ordinances No. 745, 1333 and 2608, and all
other ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
Section 4. That an emergency exists and is hereby
declared to exist affecting the public health, safety and welfare, and
this ordinance shall take affect immediately upon passage and publication
PASSED Unanimously by the City Council of the City
of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passag~ this /7~ay of November, 1971.
