the corporate limits of the City of Bremerton
certain land lying outside the limits of the
City of Bremerton and being contiguous to the
City of Bremerton and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION t. Whereas, a petition signed by the owners
of more than seventy-five per cent (75%) of the property herein-
after described, in value according to the assessed valuation for
taxation of said property, has been filed with the City Council
of the City of Bremerton and the Council has directed that notice
of the hearing of the petition be given and, thereafter, a public
hearing was held on the 25th day of August, 1971, and following
such public hearing the City Council has determined to annex said
described property.
SECTION 2. That the following described tract of land
is hereby and by this ordinance adopted and incorporated within
and becomes a part of the City of Bremerton, to-wit:
The East half of the Northeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter,
Section 20, Township 24 North, Range 1 East
W.M., situate in Kitsap County, Washington.
SECTION 3. The property herein described be and it
hereby is annexed to the City of Bremerton with that zoning use
classification the same bore immediately prior to hearing, to-wit
classification ~'? ~O ~ ~
SECTION ~. That an emergency exists and this ordinance is
necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property
health and safety of the citizens of the City of Bremerton and this
ordinance shall be in full force and effect following passage and
publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of Brem-
erton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authenti-
cation of such passage this~ day of August, 1971.
