AN ORDINANCE Amending Ordinance No. 2848
so as to delete the last three lines of
the first paragraph of Section 7 thereof.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1: Section 7 of Ordinance No. 2848 is
amended to read as follows:
Section 7. It shall be the duty of each police officer
to take the ~number of any meter at which any vehicle is over-
parked, as provided in this Ordinance; the State vehicle license
of such vehicle; the time and date of such overparking, and the
make of such vehicle; and issue, in writing, a citation for
illegal parking.
Any operator or owner of a vehicle to whom a
citation has been issued may, within seven days of the time of
the issuance of said citation, pay to the Clerk of the Municipal
Court as a penalty for and in full satisfaction of such violation
the sum of Two Dollars ($2.00).. The failure of such owner or
operator to make such payment within said seven days shall
render such owner or operator subject to the penalties herein-
after provided for violation of the provisions of this Ordinance.
Provided, however, that the Municipal Judge may,
by General Order, allow a parking ticket to be settled by the
payment of $1.00 within twenty-four (24) hours after the ticket
is issued.
APPROVED by the City Council on first reading this
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication
