AN ORDINANCE providing for and authorizing permanent
and temporary registration facilities, amending Sec-
tion 2 of Ordinance No. 2702; and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Amending Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2702 to
read as follows:
That there is hereby established temporary voter
registration facilities at Bremerton Gardens Rental
Offices 1014 ParkSide Drive, Bremerton, Washington,
and at Kitsap Radio & Appliance, 6th & N. Callow,
Bremerton, Washington, to be open between the hours
of 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. for each of the fifteen
days, excepting Sundays, prior to the last day to
register in order to be eligible to vote at th~
State Primary Election and at the State General
Election.
Section 2. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared
to exist and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, property, health and safety of the citizens of the City of
Bremerton and shall be in full force and effect immediately following passage
and publication. ~_~
PASSED unanimously on first reading this~-~Y / day of July,
1970, by the City Council of the City of Brmmerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage.
