THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That Section 9 of Ordinance No. 2501 is amended
to read as follows:
SectiOn 9. Section 2.10 of Western Plumbin$ Officials
Uniform Plumbin~ Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
(a) Fees for renewal of Certificates of Qualification or
Registration:
1. Plumbing Contractors License $75.00
2. Journeyman Plumbers Certificate
of Qualification 7.50
3. Apprentice Plumbers Certificate
of Registration 1.00
If such renewal be requested and the required fee paid more than
thirty (30) days but less than ninety (90) days after the expiration
date of such certificate, the renewal fee shall be ONE-HUNDRED
($100.00) DOLLARS for the Plumbing Contractors License, TEN ($10.00)
DOLLARS for the Journeyman Plumbers Certificate of Qualification and
TWO ($2.00) DOLLARS for the Apprentice Plumbers Certificate of
Registration. After ninety (90) days from date of expiration of
Certificate or License but not more than 180 days from date of such
expiration, no Journeyman Plumbers Certificate of Qualification or
Apprentice Plumbers Certificate of Registration shall be issued unless
a sworn statement is produced to establish that the applicant has
either not been working or, if working, has been working outside of
the jurisdiction of the City of Bremerton for the prior unlicensed
period. If renewal is applied for between ninety (90) and 180 days,
the fee shall be $7.50 for renewing late and $7.50 for the current
Plumbers Competency Card, total $15.00. After 180 days the renewal
shall be $10.00 late fee for Plumbers Card and $7.50 for the current
year's license, total $17.50. After ninety (90) days from date of
expiration of Plumbing Contractors License, the renewal fee shall be
$150.00.
(b) Before any person shall engage in or labor at the trade
of Journeyman Plumber, he shall first procure a Journeyman Plumbers
License and pay in advance to the City Treasurer the annual license
fee as set forth in Section 2.10 of this code; provided, however, a
Journeyman Plumber possessing a valid Certificate of Competency and
a valid Journeyman Plumbers License from a reciprocating municipal
corporation may, on entering the City of Bremerton to work, notify
the administrative authority and may work within the City without
paying a license fee as set forth in this section. ~"Reciprocating

municipal corporation" as used herein, shall mean any other muni-
cipality within the State o£ Washington giving an examination the
scope and character of which are at least equal to that given by the
local Board of Examiners. Notwithstanding the City's recognition of
licenses from reciprocating municipal corporations, all Journeyman
Plumbers whose employers have their primary place of business located
in the City of Bremerton must obtain the license set forth in Section
2.10 of this Ordinance. Revocation of a Journeyman Plumbers
Certificate of Qualification pursuant to the provisions of Section
2.11 of this code shall automatically cancel that person's Journeyman
Plumbers License without refund in addition to other penalties
provided.
