THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 16 of Ordinance No. 2888 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
Section 16. Issuance of Taxicab Driver's Permit Duration
Fee - Temporary Taxicab Driver's Permit The City Clerk, upon
approval by the Commissioner of Public Safety, shall issue a
temporary permit for such period of time not to exceed thirty (30)
days as the Commissioner of Public Safety Shall designate, and such
temporary permit shall have stamped thereon the date of termination.
Upon approval of an application as hereinabove provided
for a taxicab driver's permit, the'City Clerk shall issue a permit
to the applicant, which permit sh~ll bear'the name, address, age,
signature and photograph of the applicant. Such permit shall be
in effect for the remainder of the license year.
A permit for every license year thereafter shall be issued
upon the payment of Ten Dollars ($10.00) and may be issued within
thirty (30) days of the expiration of the license year. Such
renewal, however, shall not be granted unless the permit fbr the
preceding year has not been revoked.
