AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 2863 of the City of
Bremerton, declaring the estimated-cost of the construc-
tion and installation of a Municipal Golf Course;
providing for the issuance of revenue bonds of the City
in the principal amount of $200,000.00 to provide funds
to pay such costs; and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 2863 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
Section 2. The estimated cost of acquiring, constructing and
installing the above-described Municipal Golf Course is hereby
declared to be, as near as may be, the sum of $325,000.00 of which
the sum of $200,000.00 shall be provided through the issuance and
sale of revenue bonds.
As an integral part of the plan for acquiring, constructing
and installing the ~ove-described Municipal Golf Course, the City
.~shall issue and sell its revenue bonds at such time or times as the
Council may determine to be to the best interest of the City. The
exact date, form, terms, maturities and covenants of such bonds shall
be as hereafter fixed by ordinance of the City.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE: That an emergency.-exists affecting
the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the
City of Bremerton, and this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
following passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously on first reading by the City Council of
the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City
Clerk in authentication of such passage this~ '~~day of June, 1970.
