THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN
~ ~SECTION 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2886 is
amended'to read as follows:
SECTION 3. Should any property owner, after having
been given five (5) days' written notice signed by the Commissioner
of Public Works, fail to satisfactorily eradicate Lasiocampidae
(caterpillars) on the owner's property, the City shall do so
through its designated agents. The cost of such eradication shall
be billed to the property owner and shall become a lien against
the property,~he City Clerk shall file the same with the Auditor
of Kitsap County.
SECTION 2. That an emergemcy exists and is hereby
declared to exist, and this Ord£nance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens
of the City of Bremerton and this Ordinance should take and he
effective immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested to by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this ~dY~-da¥ of May, 1970.
