AN ORDINA~CE declaring the nee~] for condemnation
of a strip of land in and through certain real
properties in and upon which to lay, operate and
maintain sewer pipes, together with an~ necessary
appurtenances thereon; and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREME9TO~.~ DOE.~ ORDAIN:
Section 1. That for the public health, safet,v an~? ~.~elfare
of the citizens of the C=ty of Eremerton, said City has entered into a
program to lay, operate and maintain sewer pipes and has caused to be
prepared general and specific plans therefor,
SectiOn 2. To accomplish the said Laying, operating and
maintaining of sewer pipes, it is necessary to secure property through
and over the follov~ing described real properties, together w.ith any
necessary appurtenances ~ereon:

Section 3. The City Yttorney is hereby authorized
directed to proceed immediately with the condemnation for the above
described properties in the Superior Court of the State of Washington
for Kitsap County.
Section ~. That an emergency exists and is hereby declared
to exist, and this Ordinance is necessary for the immediate yresez
vation of the public peace, health and safety of the citizens of the
City of Bremerton and this Ordinance should take and be effective
immediately following passage and pub!ication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the oi+y~ ~ of
Bremerton, signed by the Hayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this day of Nay 1970
