AN ORDINANCE appropriating $1~558.06 into
the Regist~a.t~o~n~ ~ Elections category in
the City T~'s Budget from the General
Fu~nd; and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the
General Fund of the City of Bremerton, the sum of $1,S58.06
to the Registrations ~ Elections category of the City ~
Budget to pay the Kitsap County Auditor for costs of city
elections of November ~th, 1969, and January 27, 1970, that
were not provided fop in full in the 1970 budget because of
the increase in costs of conducting elections together with
a different formula used by the Kitsap County Auditom in
arriving at cost.
SECTION 2. There exists, and is hereby declared to exist,
an emergency; and this ordinance is necessary for the immediate
preservation of the public peace, health and safety of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton and this ordinance should take
and be effective immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously by the City Council of the City of
Bremerton~ signed by the Mayor and attested to by %he City Clerk
in authentication of such passage this ~ ~day of May, 1970.
