declaration on the environmental impacts of
· ocal Improvement Districts Nos. 311, 312,
313 and 314
WHEREAS, the City Council previously considered environ-
mental statements for Local Improvement District No. 311, on February
9, 1972, and for Local Improvement Districts Nos. 312, 313 and 314 on
March 1, 1972, and authorized the filing of said statements with the
State Department of Ecology in compliance with the State Environmental
Policy Act of 1971; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that the con-
struction of a sanitary sewer collection system through and within
the local improvement districts will not have a significant impact
on the environment; and
WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed said statements and
recommendations and finds that the implementation of the local
improvement districts and construction will not have a significant
impact on the environment;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That the environmental statements and recommen-
dations of the City Engineer concerning Local Improvement Districts
No$~ 311, 312, 313 and 314 are hereby adopted and the City Clerk is
directed to file said statements as a negative declaration with
the State Department of Ecology in compliance with the State Environ-
mental Policy Act of 1971 and regulations and guidelines enacted
pursuant thereto.
Section 2. That the City Engineer is further authorized
to make and prepare such additional filings, reports and environmental
statements as may be required by the State Environmental Policy Act
of 1971, the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, or any guide-
lines or regulations enacted pursuant thereto.
