cla~ing an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby c~eated within the Civil Service
De~nt of the City of ~on a position designated as Clerk-Secretary.
Section 2. The~e is hereby appropriated fz-om the General Fund
of the City of Br~m~mW~on, fop the balance of the budget yea~ 1973, the sum of
$2,500 to the item Cle~k-Secretary~ unde~ salary and ~ages in the Civil Service
De~nt Budget~ at a salary range of $500 to $520 pep month. That said
position will be used jointly with the State and Federal G~ants Administr~tor~
Office.
Section 3. Ther~ exists, and is hereby declared to exist, an
emer~e~; and this ordinance is necessary for the i~mediate p~eservation of the
public peace, health and safety of the citizens of B~amerton, and shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon passage and publication.

signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
