~2~ ORDIN~IGE providing for the establishment of
a special checking account for the Water Office
to be known as "Consumer Deposit Refund Account";
and declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BRE~{ERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That a special checking account shall be established
at the Peoples National Bank of Washington for the refund of Customer De-
posits due to customers and for payment of amounts due the city by customers
whose accounts are being closed.
Section 2. That the special checking account shall be designated
as "Consumer Deposit Refund Account".
Section 3. The City Treasurer shall make payable to the "Consumer
Deposit Refund Account" the sum of Five Hundred Dollars (500.00) from the
Administrative Trust Fund, and shall at regular intervals replenish the
account from the "Consumer Deposit Fund" when presented with the replenish-
ment request by the Water Office, on prescribed forms.
Section 4. An emergency exists affecting the public peace, health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of the City of Bremerton, and this Ordin-
ance shall take effect immediately following passage and publication.
PASSED unanimously on first reading by the City Council of the
City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in
authentication of such passage this day of /~oz~,./f~ , 1973.
