HomeMy WebLinkAbout3061 AN ORDINANCE adopting and confirming the assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 306, providing for the improvement of the Alley from 24th Street to 26th Street between Veldee and %Vycoff Avenue as described in Ordinance Z814 providing for the levying and assessing for the costs and expenses thereof against the parcels and lots of land within the boundaries of said improvement district; providing for the collection thereof; creating and estab- lishing a special fund therefor; and fixing the date for the issuance of bonds, warrants, or installment notes in payment thereof. THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That the Assessment Roll for Local Improvement District No. $06 providing for the improvement of the above mentioned Alley by paving and draining, together with the doing of any and all work in connection therewith as may be necessary to make such improve- ment a complete job, all in accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the office of the City Engineer and as provided by Ordinance No. 2814; the same is hereby approved and confirmed. Section 2. That each parcel and lot of land or part thereof, as shown in said assessment roll is specially benefited by said improvement and that there be and is hereby assessed each parcel and lot of land and part thereof and other property contained in said improvement district as shown in said roll, including any property belonging to the City of Bremerton and the respective amounts in said roll set against each parcel and lot of land or part thereof and other property between the termini of said improvement, abutting upon, adjacent of-proximate to said improvement, and such amounts so assessed are hereby declared to be first lien against each parcel or lot or part thereof against which the same is assessed in said roll. Section 3. That for the purpose of this improvement there is hereby created and established a special fund t° be khown as "Local Improvement Fund District No. 306".
