AN ORDINANCE vacating ~%etween Ford
Avenue .and Lafayette Avenue and between
Lafayette Avenue and Kitsap Way in the
City of Bremerton.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1: That there has been previously filed with
the City Council a petition requesting vacation of that certain
~between Ford Avenue and Lafayette Avenue and between
Lafayette Avenue and Kitsap Way in the City of Bremerton,
more particularly described below; that a hearing was had on
said petition on the 27th day of November, 1974, after notice
had been posted and given in the manner provided by law; that
at said hearing the City Council of the City of Bremerton
unanimously approved the said petition.
SECTION 2: That that certai~ located between
Ford Avenue and Lafayette Avenue and between Lafayette Avenue
and Kitsap Way in the City of Bremerton, more particularly
described as:
The north 10 feet of 9th Street between Ford Avenue and
Lafayette Avenue and between Lafayette Avenue and Kitsap
Way in the City of Bremerton, County of Kitsap.
be, and hereby is declared vacated, provided that easements
for public utilities including sewer and water lines, telephone
and power cables which now may be under the surface of any of
the areas vacated, are hereby retained by the City of Bremerton,
and the right to exercise and grant easements in respect to the
areas hereby vacated for the construction, repair and main-
tenance of public utilities and services is also retained by
the City of Bremerton.
