AN ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 3147 relating to wate-'
and sewer rates revising procedures for applying Volume
Discounts.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. Ordinance 3147, Section III, Subparagraphs G.1. and G.2.
are modified as follows:
"1. Meter Rates Within The City Limits:
500 cubic feet or less ................. $2.75
The next 4500 cubic feet per 100 cuft .......... 35
Over 5000 cubic feet per 100 cu ft ............ 30"
"2. Meter Rates Outside The City Limits:
500 cubic feet or less ................. $4.15
The next 4500 cubic feet per 100 cuft .......... 55
Over 5000 cubic feet per 100 cu ft ............ 45"
SECTION 2. Section III, Subparagraph J is modified as follows:
"J. Special Irrigation Rates
1. A special rate for sprinkling or irrigating tracts of land
shall be available to single family residences and duplexes during the sun, her
period. For those premises billed in August and October, the special rates apply
during the months of June, July, August, and September. For those premises billed
in September and November. the special rates apply during the months of July,
August, September, and October~. The special rates shall be $11.00 for the first
five thousand cubic feet used during each bi-monthly billing period and thirty
cents per one hundred cubic feet thereafter."
SECTION 3. Section IV, Subparagraph I{.2.d. is modified as follows:
"d. Sewer service charges during the months of June through
October to residential premises which may use large quantities of water for
irrigation purposes shall not exceed the charge based on the largest bi-monthly
consumption of water during the immediately preceding period from '~ovember
through May."
