ORDINANCE NO. ! 7~
AN ORDINANCE amending Section 5 of Ordinance No.
2236 regarding regulation of the installation of
fixtures and apparatus used to conduct or consume
natural gas, and adopting by reference each and all
of the conditions, provisions and regulations,
penalties and terms of said N.B.F.U. Pamphlet 54 and
the Pamphlet No. ASA B 31.1, dated 195.5, and pro-
viding that Section 1 of this ordinance shall
control any conflict with Chapter 12 of the Uniform
Plumbing Code.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
SECTION 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2236 is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 5. Fees for gas appliance permits shall be
paid in advance and shall be computed from the number of such
appliances proposed to be installed as follows:
Range, Dryer, Refrigerator, etc. $ 3.00
Heater 70,000 BTU 3.00
Heater over 70,000 BTU 5.00
Water Heater up to 60' gallon 3.00
Water Heater over 60 gallon 5.00
Furnace up to 180,000 BTU 7.50
Furnace over 180,000 to 500,000 BTU 10.00
Furnace 500,000 to 100,000,000 BTU 15.00
Furnace over 100,000,000 BTU 17.50
Conversion Units 5.00
Small Appliance 2.00
Gas log, lights, etc. 3.00
Gas piping, up to 3 appliances or 100 feet
of piping 3.00
Over 3 appliances or 100 feet of piping (per ft) .05
Inspection of Used appliances (per unit) 2.00
Call back inspection (1/2 price of permit)
Note: Call back inspection shall be obtained
from City Building Department
SECTION 2. That each and all of the conditions,
provisions and regulations, penalties and terms of N.B.F.U.
Pamphlet 54 and the Pamphlet No. ASA B 31.1, dated 1955 is
hereby adopted and by this reference made a part hereof.

SECTION 3. That Section 5 of ordinance No. 2236 as
amended in Section 1 hereof shall control any conflict with
Chapter 12 of the Uniform Plumbing Code.
