HomeMy WebLinkAbout3162 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Brem~rton levying municipal taxes against all of
the taxable property within the city limits of Bremerton for the year 1974, and
approving the assessment roll made by the Assessor of Kitsap County therefor, to
be collected in the year 1975.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That a tax on the total valuation of the taxable property of the
City of Bremerton, assessed at the rate of $3.60 per one thousand dollars of
assessed value, to generate estimated tax revenue of $893,045 be, and the same is
hereby, levied against the taxable property locatedwithin the corporate limits
of the City of Bremerton, for municipal purposes, for the year 1974, to be col-
lected in the year 1975, and the s~me to be carried on the tax rolls and collected
by the Treasurer of Kitsap County.
Section 2. That the assessment roll, as made by the County Assessor of
Kitsap County, Washington and reviewed by the County Commissioners of said County,
assessing property values as a basis for taxes for the year 1974, to be collected
in the year 1975, in which said roll the taxable property in the City of Bremerton
has been preliminarily assessed in the sum of $248,068,080, be and the said
assessment roll is hereby approved as the assessment roll for the City of Bremerton.
Section 3. This ordinance 8hall be in full force and effect immediately
following ~assage and publication as provided by law.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
