Title 46 of the Revised Code of Washington
by reference providing for penalties for the
violation thereof; and declaring an emergency
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. That chapters 46.09 in its entirety,
46.10 in its entirety, 46.16.070, 46.16.072, 46.16.075, 46.16.090,
46.16.137, 46.16.138, 46.16.140, 46.16.170, 46.16.180,
46.16.260, 46.20.020, 46.20.021, 46.20.041, 46.20.190, 46.20.336,
46.20.410, 46.20.440, 46.12.070, 46.12.080, 46.12.090, 46.12.100,
46.12.110, 46.29.610, 46.29.620, 46.12.625, 46.37.070, 46.61~360 of
the R~vised Codeof Washington are hereby adopted by reference as
additions to the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Bremerton
Section 2. PENALTIES: Any person violating any of
the provisions of the Traffic Ordinance of the City of Bremerton
set forth in section 1 hereof shall be guilty of a misdemeanor
for which he shall be fined not to exceed Three Hundred Dollars
($300.00) or imprisonment in the City jail of Bremerton not ~o
exceed ninety (90) days or both. Such fine and imprisonment
provided however, no such fine or imprisonment shall exceed
that fine or imprisonment otherwise specifically prescribed by
the provisions of Section ! hereof.
Section 3. EFFECT OF PARTIAL INVALIDITY. If any
part or parts of this Ordinance or any of the provisions adopted
by reference by this ordinance, are for any reason held to be
invalid, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions of this ordinance or the provisions adopted
by reference herein.
Section 4. EFFECTIVE DATE: That an emergency exists
affecting the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the
citizens of the City of Bremerton, and this ordinance shall
take effect immediately following passage and publication.

PASSED unanimously on first reading by the City
Council of the City of Bremerton, signed by the Mayor and
attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such passage
this ay of April, 19 74.
