AN ORDINANCE creating a position of
Maintenance Man Groun#skeeper in the
Park and Recreation Department and
declaring an emergency.
THE CITY OF BREMERTON DOES ORDAIN:
Section 1. There is hereby created within the Department of Parks and
Recreation of the City of Bremerton, a position designated as Maintenance
Man Groundskeeper at the rate of $3.823 per hour.
Section 2. There is hereby transfereed from the extra labor item Park
and Recreation Department's 1974 budget to the Maintenance Man Groundskeeper
salary item in the amount of $7,800 for the purpose of paying the salary and
payroll benefits for the balance of 1974.
Section 3. There exists, and is hereby declared to exist, an emergency;
and this ordinance is necessary for the in~nediate preservation of the public
peace, he&~th and safety of the citizens of Bremerton, and shall be in full
force and effect immediately upon passage and publication.
PASSED on first reading by the City Council of the City of Bremerton,
signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Clerk in authentication of such
passage this 27th day of February, 1974.
